Corrections Policy

Accuracy matters to us. When we get something wrong, we want to fix it quickly and openly.
How to report an error
Email info@iptvnews.site with the subject line "Correction." Every article also has a link at the bottom that opens an email with the article title filled in.
Please include:
- The URL of the article
- The specific statement you believe is wrong
- Why it's wrong, ideally with a link to a reliable source
- Your name and email address, so we can follow up if needed
How we handle reports
- We review every report. We check the disputed statement against primary sources and, where needed, contact the organizations involved.
- We act on confirmed errors promptly.
- We may reply to tell you the outcome, especially if we needed more information.
How corrections appear
- Factual errors that affect the meaning of an article, such as wrong names, dates, figures or claims, are corrected in the text, and a correction note is added at the end of the article describing what was changed and when.
- Significant updates to reflect new developments are noted in the article and the Updated date is changed.
- Minor fixes, such as spelling, grammar, formatting or broken links, are made without a note when they don't change the meaning.
- Serious errors that undermine an article's central point may lead to a substantial rewrite with an editor's note, or, in rare cases, withdrawal of the article with an explanation.
We don't silently remove or rewrite content to hide mistakes.
What isn't a correction
- Disagreements with opinion or analysis are welcome as feedback, but they aren't corrections unless a factual claim is wrong.
- Changes after publication, such as a company changing its prices after we reported them correctly, are handled as updates, not corrections.
