Advertising and Sponsored Content Disclosure

Last updated:

Readers should always know whether content is independent journalism or something a company has paid for. This page explains our commercial relationships, and our rules if they change.

Current status

As of the date at the top of this page, IPTV News:

  • Does not display advertising
  • Does not publish sponsored or paid content
  • Does not use affiliate links or earn commissions from links
  • Does not accept payment for coverage, reviews, links or placement
  • Does not accept free products in exchange for coverage

Mentions of companies, products and services on the website are editorial decisions.

If we introduce advertising

If we display advertising in future:

  • Ads will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content and labelled "Advertisement."
  • Advertisers will have no influence over what we cover or what we say.
  • We will not accept advertising from unlicensed IPTV services, sellers of "fully loaded" devices or any business promoting unlawful activity.
  • We will update our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy before any advertising technology is added.

If we publish sponsored content

If we publish content paid for by a third party:

  • It will be labelled "Sponsored" at the top, with the sponsor named.
  • It will be visually separate from our editorial content.
  • Links in sponsored content will be marked with appropriate link attributes (such as rel="sponsored").
  • It will still need to be accurate and lawful.

If we ever earn commission from links:

  • We will disclose it on every page where affiliate links appear, before the first link.
  • Affiliate relationships will not affect our recommendations or conclusions.

Business inquiries

For business or partnership inquiries, email info@iptvnews.site with the subject "Business." Please note our policy above: we don't sell links, guest posts or coverage, and we don't work with unlicensed IPTV services.
