Accessibility Statement

Last updated:

IPTV News wants everyone to be able to read and use https://iptvnews.site, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control and keyboard-only navigation.

Our approach

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative. In practice, this means:

  • Semantic structure: headings in a logical order, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and lists marked up properly
  • Keyboard access: all navigation, search, menus and forms work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
  • Skip link: a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page
  • Text alternatives: descriptive alt text for article images
  • Readable text: high-contrast text, generous line spacing and layouts that adapt to zoom and narrow screens without horizontal scrolling
  • Clear forms: every contact form field has a visible label, plus instructions and status messages announced to assistive technologies
  • Reduced motion: the website doesn't rely on animation, and respects your device's reduced-motion setting
  • Descriptive links: link text that makes sense out of context wherever practical
  • Content type labels: every article clearly states whether it's news, a guide, analysis or opinion

Known limitations

We review the website regularly, but some limitations may remain:

  • Article illustrations are abstract graphics. Their alt text describes them briefly, since they don't carry information that isn't in the text.
  • Tables in some articles may require horizontal scrolling inside the table on small screens.
  • External websites we link to are outside our control and may not meet the same standards.
  • Code examples are presented as preformatted text, which some screen readers read character by character.

Compatibility

The website is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and assistive technologies. It works without JavaScript for reading and searching articles. The contact form's spam protection needs JavaScript, and we give an email alternative.

Feedback and requests

If you have difficulty using any part of the website, or need content in a different format, please tell us. Email info@iptvnews.site with the subject "Accessibility," including:

  • The page address (URL)
  • A description of the problem
  • The browser, device and any assistive technology you use

We aim to respond within a few working days and will work with you to provide the information you need.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We test new features with keyboard navigation and automated checks, and we fix reported issues as a priority.
